]]>The foundation aims to fund research about the treatment and prevention of pediatric and congenital heart disease, provide assistance to the families of children with heart disease in need of medical and/or surgical care and supplies, and provide information, education, lifesaving care, and modernized training to under-resourced medical teams in other communities via their annual heart surgery mission trips.
The Cardiac Kids Foundation of Florida is headed up by Dr. Jeffrey Jacobs and his team. They have been running mission trips to Jamaica for the past 17 years and have already saved many precious young lives. The team at Advluence is honored to be a part of this mission and is excited to capture the footage that will help raise awareness and funds for the foundation.
On these mission trips, Dr. Jacobs and his team have been able to capacitate the medical and surgical teams at the Bustamante Hospital for Children with the knowledge, training, and skills needed to continue saving lives well into the future. The partnership between the Cardiac Kids Foundation of Florida, Advluence, and the Bustamante Hospital for Children is a prime example of teamwork and sustainability in action.
Since the inception of the mission trips, countless lives have been saved, and with the help of Advluence, the foundation hopes to raise enough awareness and funds to save hundreds more in the future. The footage captured by Advluence will be used in promotional materials for the foundation to help raise awareness and funds.
Advluence is proud to be a part of such a noble cause and is honored to be able to use its skills to make a difference in the lives of children with congenital heart defects. We believe that this mission will not only help the children in Jamaica but will also inspire other medical teams around the world to take similar initiatives and make a real change in the lives of children in need.
